Kids Fencing
  • North Shore Fencers Club in Long Island is where children from as young as 6 years of age can discover the exciting sport of fencing in a fun and safe environment.
  • Fencing is immensely popular with children and is fast becoming the new sport to help improve fitness, coordination, agility, speed and strength while also appealing to a child’s sense of play.
  • At North Shore Fencers Club we are passionate about establishing fencing in schools, after school clubs and school fun days for children as well as fencing sport camps during the holiday periods.

USFA - ‘Questions Every College Bound Fencer Should Ask’
Many factors play a part in choosing which college a high school senior will apply to and choose to attend. These factors become more complex if the student is an athlete and perhaps even more complex still if that student is an athlete of a sport other than one of the popular mainstream sports. The best tool to help fencers and their parents navigate some of these complexities is knowledge:
  • knowledge of what general NCAA information they need;
  • knowledge of how to get that information;
  • knowledge of which questions to ask of each fencing program.

Congratulation Fencers

2011 USA Fencing Summer National Championships Concludes in Reno. The largest fencing tournament in the world, the event included more than 6,000 individual entries.
To all the fencers that competed and to our NSFC fencers that have done so well, great job! Vladimir Gofman would like to congratulate our NSFC fencers, parents and coaches for a great 2011 season finish. This season has been a great success for our Epee and Foil Program.
