2008 Summer National Championship
Our Junior Women's epee team took 3rd place at this year’s National Championships in San Jose CA.  They unseated two of the top Junior teams in the event with long standing winning records (LA International and Northwest Fencing Center from Oregon).  The Oregon and LA  teams both held members of the US National team and a gold medalist from this year’s World Championship in Italy.  This is our 2nd time we had entered the team competition and the extra year of experienced really showed.  Our young team will have many more years in this event (Junior - Under 19) so it will be interesting to see what happens next year.
